Over 700 scholastic chess players participated in a two-day celebration of chess during the 10th annual Queen City Chess Tournament at Paul Brown Stadium’s Club West. Both Saturday’s tournament and the Friday night Simul event sold out. The Simul featured chess masters squaring off against 40 young chess players simultaneously. Hosted by the Cris Collinsworth ProScan Fund and The Cincinnati Bengals, the tournament creatively promotes discipline, goal-setting, and critical thinking in a youth-friendly manner. During Friday’s opening ceremony, Cris Collinsworth honored Cincinnati Bengal Dhani Jones for his leadership and service to youth.
